Jack Dentinger

As a director, editor, and producer of film and live experiences, I am endlessly excited by untold stories, boundary-pushing work, and radical joy. I believe stories, in all their forms, are how we understand the world together. Whether I’m shaping my own work as a writer/director or helping realize someone else’s vision as an editor or through development, there is nothing more exciting to me than a new collaboration.

My work as a director, editor, and producer has screened at festivals around the world, including Sundance, Bentonville, and Paris. In music film, I’ve directed and edited music videos and concert films, and have worked alongside Jonas Åkerlund in production and development on projects including the 2025 documentary Metallica Saved My Life, Madonna’s Celebration Tour: Live in Rio, and 2026’s Billy Idol Should Be Dead.

As a co-founder of the devising theatre collective The Bellwether Project, I’ve developed unique devising processes alongside incredible theatre artists, creating work that has been presented in New York and across the country at venues including Ars Nova, Irondale, and Vineyard Arts Project.​
